MILs seem to be either wonderful or NOT...no in between...

I still miss mine, almost more than I miss my mom...they passed within 6 months of each other in 1995.

Not so fond of the 'new' one...thought Grandpa would have had better sense as he had such a jewel the first time...but...I have to remember some of the problems are alzheimers related...however I can still do without the stories about her third ex-husband (and first and second) and how her kids never come visit (anyone wonder why???)

That is such a sad thing. I had an aunt like that. There were 9 people at her funeral. I just hope that she is finally happy about something.

By the way, my DMIL was a wonderful lady. Very quiet, very generous. I don't think I ever heard her raise her voice. I was the only one with her when she passed and I considered it her last gift to me because it was beautiful and inspireing.

Your story brought a tear to my eyes cause I have tried so hard with both my mil and fil just to have them treat me link sh--. I finally gave up trying. I love them both but the feeling in not mutual. Now my DM treats my DH like he is her own son, he is the one that has it good.

I so know what its like to have your world turned up side down. maybe ask your mother in-law if there is a problem. she might not relize what she is doing. you are in my prayers. God bless. Penny

Wow, she really does sound like a B. I hope things start to turn around for you soon. She sounds impossible to be with. God Bless you. Keep on smiling, it's the best revenge!
