My husband left early this morning for a weekend of deep sea fishing with our son and I have been having a sewing day. I am working on 2 quilts..one has been in progress and the other is a Hawaiian hand applique that I got cut out last night and started working on this morning.
I watched 4-5 quilting shows that were recorded and waiting for me while I appliqued and then I went to the machine and got some piecing done, more applique, lunch, and sewing most of this afternoon...have my music on and have just gotten my shower at 4:30PM! Just wanted to share...Hope your day has been good for you too! |
I love those kind of days and lucky you- having an entire week-end of them! Enjoy!

I know just how you feel! Most of us have those days few and far in between - but I am sure that we make the most of it!! Sometimes it is night time and I am still in my jammies from....well....never got out of them!

And you can still sewing as late into the night as you want without anyone saying 'are you ever coming to bed'?
