I agree, that seems to be a single pane. An eazy peezy fix. Done many of them in my past. Good luck! Definitely less than 20 bucks.

If it is the same as my window it is not just the square, it is the entire window, the wood slats are in one piece and come off as an entire piece ready made that fits on top of the glass.

piece of glass, push points and window glazing. If you're lucky.

You might be able to get a handy neighbor to do it for you.

Glad you posted the photo.
I was thinking that had you broken a huge pane of glass! I am also glad no one was hurt. |

Wouldn't your house insurance cover the broken window? Then you can enjoy the extra money from your quilts when you sell them.

EVEN if it is NOT covered, they will mark it as a claim against you.... Save the insurance for major events... like totaled house... If the window is multi-paned as it looks, you can fix it yourself for a couple of dollars... If it is faux pane..the panes are a grid over a solid glass, you will have to repace the whole glass.... Call a glass repair shop and get prices... |
I'm sure the window was cracked to begin with. As I write this I just heard glass breaking downstairs. My DH is installing a light fixture and I hope that wasn't the globe...
