I see photos of these neat orderly sewing rooms and I get busy trying to make my little sewing space look more orderly.

Then I see photos of all these nice organized fabrics so I order some Easy Cores and get busy wrapping my fabrics so I can see what I have...many great discoveries there.

Then you all tell me how many sewing machines you have and I only have two. But, lo and behold, there is one at a yard sale. A Janome no less. And because I am falling behind you all I just have to buy it.

So please be careful what you tell me next.....

:D :D :D

Too funny. Lets see what can we tell you that you need next....hey I got it....you need to have us all send you some of our bills to pay that way we have more money to spend on fabric. LOLOL

there are members here who have challenged themselves to buy as little as possible until they have used up their existing stashes of fabrics, etc.

you could always "compete" with them.

Goodness, I know the feeling. I'm sitting here thinking about it being Senior Day at Hancocks and they are still having their Labor Day sale so how can I pass it up? I'm trying to make a 'wish list' but nothing is coming to mind that I just "must have" today.

My question is do I get dressed and go (only 5 minutes away) or do I stay here, all comfy in my "nightshirt" and sew or embroider? It's 1:15 here so I need to make a decision soon.

What to do?????????????? And will I hate myself tomorrow for not going??????

You can blame us, but I suspect that you were pretty easy to persuade

Don't forget you need a thimble for each day of the week, a different pair of scissors for every kind of fabric, and did we mention the special organizer for keeping your sewing machine needles in order by size and condition?

Just funnin' you.

I've been attempting to organize my sewing room for over year now!! The picture below shows you what some of my stash looks like. All of that has be washed so I don't have to wash it when I'm ready to make a new quilt. (Notice the kitty perched dangerously close to the edge of the pile!)

I'm behind ya'll, I only have one machine. BUT a bed in a bag sized bag full of thread!!!!

Who wants to do the ironing??!!
