Isn't there a way for you to make fabric out of these? They are so pretty--I can see why you like them :)
Edited: By the printable fabric, run it through a color printer and fussy cut so you can sew it into quilts/pillows, etc. and enjoy in your home. I think you will be amazed at what it will turn out like :) :) |
I had a bunch of shells that I put in a shallow round clear bowl, filled with water and put floating candles in .
|
I have filled large jars with shells and made them into lamps.

My husbands grandma has them in a glass bowl on her kitchen table. |
I had gotten some on a trip to Texas and when I returned home I glued them on to a picture frame and put it on my mantel. Also a friend of mine has a mirror with shells glue all around it and it fits in her by the sea motif in her florida room.

Thanks every one 4 the preliant ideas

You could glue them around picture frames to dress them up. Or glue them around a mirror to frame it for a decorative frame. Put them in a bowl around a large candle for a decorative candle holder. They are beautiful shells and you can use them to decorate a lot of things. Please show us pictures of what you do with them. Would love to see. :D :D :D

Very pretty shells. They would make great fabric.

You can get the large glass candy jars at wall-mart, and they have lids, so no dust collects. they look great with shells in them.

They are beautiful!! I would love to have a collection like that!

Living at the beach has it's advantages when it comes to collecting beautiful sea shells. My coffee table has drawers and whatever is in the top drawer shows through the top with two beveled glass inserts. Those top drawers are full of an assortment of shells. I have them in baskets on my front and back porches. I keep them in a small round wicker basket in the bathroom. I keep them on a small decorative soap dish on the nightstand in my guest room, lay a few out on the tub, shelves, etc. A lot of people glue them to mirrors and picture frames. The glue dries clear so you can make some beautiful things with them. Good luck whatever you decide.

those are beautiful. i love shells :D

I too LOVE shells, another idea is to drill a really small hole through them and string them up making a wind chime out of the them, the tinkling sound is so relaxing... :D :D :D
