I am supposed to be working on some checkbook covers and I stopped to watch tv a minute. This commercial came on to sell a brownie pan and it looked interesting so I kept watching. THEN they showed how to use the brownies to make brownie banana sundaes and NOW I want one!!! LOL A Brownie banana Sundae that is- not the pan!

Guess I'm gonna have to go make brownies!! I have 2 grandsons coming for the weekend and I know they will help me eat them up! And I do have bananas and cool whip!! Yumm!!

I'll letcha know how they turn out!! LOL

My BIL when he was younger only had a motorcycle to drive. He drove it all winter long in snow and ice! I sure wouldn't want to!! LOL But then I don't like motorcycles anyway! :mrgreen:

So did Hubby, all year round when he went to school in Lincoln, Ne. Not for me though, I need WARMTH!!

I think Chili sounds good and some cocoa later on!! Or maybe some sweet hot green tea! Love them both! I have some of my homemade bread in the freezer and it makes terrific toast! Toast and hot tea! That will warm me up just nicely!!! Maybe a little strawberry jam on the toast! Yum! I am purely a homebody!! I love not having to get out and go anywhere!

When I was a kid my dad worked in a gas station. Right beside the gas station was a Dairy Queen. The man who owned it was a teddy bear of a man. I would spend all day there alot in the summer as my mom worked. so every now and then the owner would call me over and give me a free ice cream cone or other ice cream treat. So I grew up going there when in high school we all went there on our lunch break as it was only a block from the school. One of my favorite sundaes used to be a brownie sundae that they put nuts on and you could ask for banana added! Yum!! Still my favorite!! With hot fudge on top too is really great!!

I worked at our local gas/grocery about 10 yrs ago. We were allowed free ice cream. I love hot fudge sundaes so I would eat those. I also love strawberry so I started using hot fudge in the bottom then choc icecream and then strawberry topping. Then whip it like a hurricane and top with more hot fudge! It is absolutely divine!!! If and when I remember I ask the girls to make me one. I haven't done it in a long time.

thanks CJ! When you get old all you have are memories! LOL LOL My MIL and my DH are all about telling stories of the olden days! LOL I guess it rubs off.

I remember my GGM who was in her 90 when I was a teenager used to tell me some of the best life stories. She had the memory of an elephant. She was Cherokee and I always thought she was the most beautiful woman I had ever known.

Oh, you guys are making me hungry for brownies.....but NOT ice cream, its too cold here!
