I found the quilt shop!

We spent our first day in Alaska in Anchorage and I got my first souvenir at the quilt shop in town. This trip is gonna be great!

I love this shop. They had some really unique and different patterns, that you can't find in the lower 48. I too spent all my souviner money here.

I just returned from Alaska, had the most amazing trip and very warm weather. I found each quilt shop at the different ports (all different and fun) and sent all of the fabric home along with a few other souvenirs at the Ketchikan post office - our last American port. I made the weigh restrictions at the airport by one pound! Whew! Have fun and enjoy the trip of a lifetime.

Just returned from our Alaska vacation as well. Lots of great quilt shops and interesting finds. My favorite was a seal skin thimble I got at Rushin' Tailor's in Skagway.

"Been there and done that". I mailed things home so I did not have to pay "extra" for the new weight of the luggage. :)

I did the same thing in Ketchikan. The little post office came in handy!
