I got a new ipad2 for xmas.
 

Yep, my DH bought me an ipad2, and I love it. I have 12 books loaded on it, and am learning how to use it. Yeh!

Congratulations! My DH was going to get me one but replaced my notebook instead. The tech told me my USB ports failed but they worked fine under Linux when Sony transferred my data for me.

Bummer but, there's always my birthday!


Have you tried facetime yet? BIL and SIL brought theirs over and it was fun to see who as well as talk.

Yes, thats the first thing we did. We talked to my kids, and it was like they were right there in the room with us. and they were 1200 miles away. I love it. My DH is on it when he comes home from work. He calls me now, and tells me I have to get off of the ipad for awhile. lol. It's fun.
