How cool. Now what are you going to do to keep it going? Idea's anyone? You could pay for a fat quarter at the LQS for the next person checking out.

If you are in the drive through usually by the time they get to the window, you have already ordered. My husband has bought meals for people at Burger King before, the people working the window get all befuddled, it takes them a minute to decide how to do it.

We live in a college town. The boy behind me at the grocery store was buying a 6 pack of water. I told the cashier that I would pay for that too. The college boy threw a fit, like I was trying to steal it or something. I told him never mind. Never did figure that one out.

Some people are offended when you offer them anything. My husband while usually very generous, is not a very gracious receiver. He will argue with people, I'm still working on that one - he tells me "but they don't have to do that" he struggles with the understanding that just because he didn't NEED them to pay for his lunch or whatever doesn't mean that for whatever reason they didn't NEED to do it.
