I have wanted to post this for a long time
Yes, one year, 9 months and 25 days to be exact. I am officially back to work after loosing my job so long ago. Today I became a funeral director (in training, but paid). On January 3rd I begin my second job teaching Anatomy at the very same school where I attended up to 2 weeks ago. The funeral home will work around my teaching schedule. Is busy work with crazy schedule, totally unexpected experiences, like riding in a car with a dead body on my first day, but really feels good to go back to work.

Congratulations! I remember reading your posts months ago when you were in school. Good for you for completing your mission and taking on a teaching job besides. Happy holidays.

I have followed you since I joined this board and I am very happy things are turning around for you and your family. I couldn't do that line of work but, I'm glad someone can. I sure hope things keep getting better for you.

I think the new year will be a good one for you. I know that none of us like to think of our demise and yet it has to happen sometime for all of us. I admire those of you who can help with the loss of a loved one. And congrats on teaching anatomy. Sounds really interesting.

Congratulations!! I too followed some of your posts as you were going to school. Who knew you'd get not one, but TWO professions out of it! So happy for you and best wishes to you in BOTH of your new professions!

Congratulations on your new jobs and hope to see you still here on the board--even tho I am sure you will be totally busy. Don't forget to take time out for yourself.
