I just came to say i love you....

Good morning Quilting Board fellow friends:

I love this forum. True that this new layout is different, but the more I see of it, the more I like it.

I would love to see one change, though.

Instead of graduating from "member" to "senior member" or "super member", why don't we start by being "charm", then go to "layer cake", "jelly roll", "pieced block", "lap quilt", etcetera?

Have a great Thursday or better yet, a great weekend.

Much love,

Would make more sense to me. Haven't figured out yet what makes one a senior or super member. Is one better than the other? Info is probably on the site somewhere. Just haven't found it yet.

That's a cute idea, klarina! :)

Much love,

Please lets hold off on any more changes right now. I am already at system overload and if i saw Jelly Roll or Layer Cake under my user name I would probably go into a meltdown thinking the board is now making fun of my weight!

Your member status is just the number of posts you've made. Someone just posted them all but now I can't remember where. No different then the old board with the 'regular' status.

On the old board I was a "regular" but on the new one I am labeled as "member". So am still looking to know what the difference is.

Actually found my answer in another thread. If anyone else wonders:

Every bulletin board has its own system for labeling levels of participation. Many places just use the default levels that are written into the software, but some orient the names of the levels to the focus of the board.

Apparently, the criteria for "a regular here" on the previous style overlaps the criteria for "Member" on this style, that's all.

How about: apprentice, piecer, quilter and master quilter?

Here's the scoop:
Member 0 - 00
Junior Member 100 - 299
Senior Member 300 - 999
Super Member 1,000 – 9,999
Power Poster 10,000 +
