Reubens when I go out. BLTs are wonderful with tomatoes fresh from the garden. Chicken salad on home made whole grain bread with lettuce and tomato. Toasted ham and cheese with fresh tomato. Turkey club from the coffee shop at the hospital where I work. Yum!

I always say that I don't like sandwiches because I took them to work for over 40 years. But then I do like a Ruben from Arbys. So I have to eat my words. .....not the first time I'm sure.

#1 Reuben
#2 BLT
#3 roast beef with horseradish sauce and lettuce

A Reuben, but a BLT is a very, very close second. So why do I eat at least a dozen burgers for either one of those? Somebody please explain why we can't get some of the most popular sandwiches at the biggest fast food places. They usually have bacon burgers, and they have lettuce and tomatoes on hand all the time, so where is the BLT? The Reuben is probably more of a challenge, but seriously, why not? I know I don't need any more unhealthy food in my life, so it's a purely academic question.

Egg salad with sprouts, avocado, tomato and sunflower seeds on a toasted ciabatta bread. Home made pimento cheese with black olives.

They are the best!!! One year, our tomatoes were so good, I ate so many of these sandwiches that I got a rash! Yum, yom, thanks for the memory. Yes, must eat them over the sink making sure your elbows are over the sink too because this is a drippy sandwich. Wow!

Ham, turkey and cheese on 7 grain bread with so many veggies it's too big for your mouth. You know, tomato, lettuce, onion and red white and yellow peppers. Oh! and also home made b&b pickles.
