Today is bitter-sweet. My mom passed 2 years ago and most of the time, I celebrate her life and think of her being by my side encouraging me along as I live my life. Today, I just miss her! I want to chat with her and share our common interests and loves and even fix her dinner or just make her laugh!

I am so blessed to have such a mom who always said things like..."close the door...were you born in a barn", or "make sure you have on clean underwear in case you're in an accident"! LOL!

She also taught me to have faith in God and to live my religion and was a woman of faith. She taught me to be good with my finances and to always pay tithing first, bills second and what was left was for whatever I wanted. She dearly loved Iris's and had the most gorgeous iris gardens anywhere! She also loved lilaces (deep purple, non succoring), basket of gold, spirea, and bleeding heart. She had a vivacity for life and had more energy than even the grandkids and lived to be 91 yrs of age. She and daddy were apart for 35 yrs after daddy died and now they're together again and that makes missing her worth while, cause they are now together!
