On the main I ask for help trying to make a 12 inch block about this and got a suggestion from Faintly Artistic. Here it is and I thank her for this idea.

Nice work...and you are FAST!
|
You summed it up well.

every guild should make these for their shows. great idea!

Great job!

That is great!! Perfect. Unfortunately no matter how many signs are up at shows, some people still persist in handling the quilts. It's infuriating. No respect, whatsoever.
One quilt show I like gives out thin disposable plastic gloves so you can touch if you want to. I think that's smart. |
I love it! Everyone should be able to understand this sign. haha :D

Nice sign, Big, flashy, attention getting, and not nasty. Just love it!
But I really don't know why people touch quilts in a quilt show, and what there is to touch.....unless you are trying to lift it to peek at the back. And then pinning back a corner so you can see the back might help. I mean it is all cotton, we all know what that feel like.....maybe you gals can give me some insight here as to what people are trying to accomplish by touching a quilt in a quilt show. even my 5 yr old DGD knows to hold her hands together behind her back....and if she gets too excited about a quilt I put a camera in her hand to keep them busy. Good grief, what's up with people? |
The message is perfectly clear with this sign. The ric-rack is a great idea. I am off to a show today and will think of you and your sign. :)

Good job, hope it works
