I was thrilled to meet Jaimie (Ragann63) from the Board on Sunday.

She flew in on Saturday, managed to get 2 hours sleep and then came to meet me and my DH for a sightseeing trip around Malaga. Jaime is a Air Flight Attendant so the meeting was somewhat short but so enjoyable and we really had a great time.

We showed her around Malaga and she loved the architecture, went for a coffee then walked around some more taking pics. Finally ended up at a little Beach Cafe where they were firing up to cook the Sardines. She was a star and bought us the meal.

Yes Colin is a great tour guide he knows Malaga well as he takes someone for treatment every 3 weeks. the treatment lasts for several hours so off he goes and explores so he has got to know the City real well.

It looks so clean & prim. Didn't realize it was so tropical. Is Malaga on the coast? Makes me want to visit but Dh won't leave the country because of how the world is today. Just stay in good ole Texas. Just have to get my tropical at South Padre Island. Glad you met & had fun. Got to meet BeBe fron San Antonio, TX last summer. Had so much fun with her.

Yes its on the Coast, it has ahuge Port where all the cruise liners come in.
We have an Eco Climate considered to be the best in Europe. Its extremely clean we have the roads sprayed down every day in the summer and garbage collected every day of the year.

Yes I got married on 3rd August. I got married in Gibraltar which is still attached to Spain but is a British Protectorate. Gibraltar is about a 2 hour car ride away.

That was our sweet fairy tale, bride, Elle :wink:

Elle, these building are beautiful, and I just love how Colin is so hospitable and friendly. What a guy!...and you know we think you are quite the girl.

Wish I could be there, when you teach her how to do the silk ribbon embroidery. I have a book and think it's just gorgeous, but a little busy, a little intimidated. I don't want to mess up my ribbons, lol.
Maybe you could tute us sometime? But I'm much better watching in person.
Guess when hubby wins the lottery, I'll just have to come over :wink:

That is a very old art. My mom has some stuff that was my grandmother's & great gm. Have a book but haven't tried it yet. Sounds like a lot of fun.

It was a lovely sunny day and we sat in the square having a coffee and a walk around. It would have been great to have shown here where I live because it is so different, there may be another time who knows.
