I just hosted a baby shower. We played some fun games such as guess what kind of baby food is in this jar. They just looked at it...they didn't have to taste it. The winners got a wrapped present which was a baby item and, of course, they gave it to the new mom. Most people don't like to play games at these showers but my guests seemed to enjoy this game. It was really funny since the new mom didn't have a clue what babies ate.

My mom just told me about a quilt she saw from a baby shower. Everyone was able to decorate a onesie. Then the onesies were all made into a t-shirt quilt for mom and baby.

One game I actually enjoyed was to see how many baby names we could make from the letters of the first names of the mother and father plus "and", though the latter could be optional.

For my daughter we decorated onesies and I had siggy blocks ready to sign when the guests arrived. I am putting those blocks together now. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Got a set of fabric pens at walmart 12 colors for the onsies and a pigma pen for the siggy blocks. Also made the Dad a Daddy toolbelt and added baby items in it.

Buy different jars baby food and diapers. Place smear of one of each food into diaper (like baby poopoo). # each diaper and coordinated jar. Give everyone a sheet #'d 1-10, 12, 14 (whatever # diapers you are using) Pass diapers around and, everyone must try to guess what the baby ate and record. Whomever gets the most correct, gets a prize!!!!
