When I was complaining about fabric fraying and she said just clip the corners. naaahhhh
I'll be darned...it worked.

Then a lady on here said put a bar of soap by your feet to stop leg cramps. I thought it was a joke too.
I don't know if it is because I am remembering to take my calcium or the soap. I feel a cramp coming on and move my foot towards the Ivory soap and the cramp goes away. Psycosomatic????
Whatever it is, its wonderful. Those cramps bring me to tears.

How about Vicks on the bottom of the feet to help ya breath.. Weirdest thing, but it works..

That is funny too. Will have to try it......with socks. ;-)
My grandmother used to put it on my chest.

I was the one who suggested the soap for leg cramps, but DH (the sufferer) gave up on it. Started taking magnesium instead.
but hey, whatever works for you, go for it.

I love the old remedies! I have asthma and occassionally I will put the vicks on the bottom of my feet to improve my breathing when it is really bad and my medicine is not enough. It Works!!!!!

Another something that really works! When you get stung, take a penny over it! 15-20 minutes later, you won't feel a thing! This works too, I have done it twice on myself, so I know from experience. You can also just hold it on it, but it's nice to tape it & not be bothered...Works on bee stings, yellow jackets, anything like that.... nice!

Pickles will also help with leg cramps. When I was pregnant, I would get charlie horses at night, sometimes so bad I would have to walk up and down the hall for five minutes just to get them out. I started eating a pickle before bed and no more charlie horses. The one night I forgot to eat my pickle, had the worst charlie horse ever!
Of course, now that I have given birth...I have a fridge full of pickles!
:)

Dry, chaffed, heels of your feet?
Rub olive oil on them. Do this daily or at night...it will help but give it time. I've spent so much money on creams that have never worked. My mother is from Italy and she told me to use it. Why didn't I ask her to begin with? lol
