I went to Joanne's yesterday and came home with.....

I came home with the black kona I went after, but also found a great deal on living furniture! It will be delivered on the 21st. Who would have figured that just browsing in the furniture store in the same shopping center would have been to my benefit? All because I needed more of that black fabric. Now to sell the old furniture and make room for the new stuff!

I need to go shopping with you!

Sounds like it was a perfect shopping trip! ;)

Good thing there wasn't a Porsche dealer in the shopping center!!!

OMG, when you wrote "living furniture" I had visions of chairs covered with grass (like a living roof). I had to read on to finally figure out what you meant. What a change in imagery!!!

Good for you. I try to stay away from fabric stores. Hard telling what or how much I will find.

Love the remarks about the Porsche.....and the grass growing furniture...I first thought you bought the furniture at Joann's and all I could think was...wow they certainly have expanded into more " stuff". Seriously, enjoy your new furniture when it comes........I sometimes think it would be fun to shop for all new furniture again!

Thank you all. The furniture is a necessity. Our old stuff just needs to go to the furniture heaven.

Sounds like a great shopping day!!

I totally agree, lol

I love the comments - I first thought, well - my JoAnne's doesn't sell furniture; then, Living furniture??? I had visions of it having feet at the ends of the legs and hands on the arms, faces on the backs, and breathing. Really had fun imaging all of that.

Seriously, I am happy for you and hope you enjoy your new furniture and your Kona black fabric!

I don't know about the furniture, but thanks, all, for the morning giggles, "hairy furniture and Porsche's included".

When I go to Hancock's there is a consignment shop next door. It has ladies dressy clothes ! There is also a Catholic book store and a Baskin Robins. It is all just across the street from my house......When we n bought the house 2 years ago DH liked it because it was on a corner BUT I knew what was across the street !!!!!!!!!!

The mental image I got was the furniture frolicking all over the store. :D
