I like that one. When I was about 6 or 7, an uncle of my dad's passed away in his sleep. The family was discussing the funeral and I asked if I could ask a dumb question, "When you die in your sleep do they bury you in your pajamas?" Well, everyone just roared with laughter. I was mortified and ran to my room crying. I thought it was a valid question and have never forgotten that moment. Since then I always tried to be very respectful of my children's seemingly silly questions.

The difference between them and us,
they say out loud what we often think to ourselves.
Kinda like Maxine with hormones!

Random questions are the thoughts in our minds. They jump out begging for answers. We love random questions at our home, they are the beginning of some fun fact.

I have those "I wonder" moments all the time and I'm not 13. I hope we remember to treasure each one of them. If we are smart, we write them down. There is this thing called BLACKMAIL. Works wonders when they are 16 and want the car keys.

I'm guessing that she does. Or the model for her did. Women didn't shave their legs or armpits back when the statue was designed. Of course, the statue itself probably doesn't.

maybe someone should start a blog about "WHO"
shaved the underarms of the Statue of Liberty.
