I managed to get some icky germs spread my way. I have been sneezing for 2 days now. My chest hurts and my nose is red. But no rest for the wicked, I have a quilt to finish and get sent off asap.
And my niece's turtle quilt to get done by the 15th.

I wish my cat could sew, so I can crawl under the bed and sleep until I am no longer sick..lol

Would cats WANT to sew if they could? Now dogs. . .

Is it icky germs or icky pollen??? I took DD garage saling Fri. afternoon when school let out early. The wind was blowing fiercely. By the time we got home the pollen had knocked my head off. I know exactly how you feel but mine's allergies.

Chasing Hawk, Where are you in the Pacific NW.

I have been fight something since last Monday. I am in So Cal. Thought it was a cold the first couple days because of sneezing and runny nose, then it eased up for a couple of days and now is back with a vengence. The sneezing keeps coming back but now an awful cough too. I hate it.

I feel your pain. LOL

Hoping you get over it quickly (((HUGS)))

At first I thought it could be the pollen I am allergic to pine tree (sap, pollen even touching the needles) and we live in the forest of all places. But I love being among the trees it's so peaceful.
It's a germ of some kind, I won't go into details on what is on my Kleenex... :| :|

Glad to read I'm not alone. I've been since for a week now with the same thing. Started out as typical allergies and progressed into a sinus infection. I know what you mean about not wanting to describe what's on your tissue!

Hope everyone feels better soon. :)

QuiltingGrannie 05-03-2010 09:10 AM

Hope everyone gets to feeling better soon.
It's not nice to be sick in the spring time. (Or any time)Sounds like it's time for the Neti Pot or
NeilMed / NasaFlo. These work great for the sinus and and nasal stuffiness.

amandasgramma 05-03-2010 09:16 AM

OOooh I have JUST the remedy!!! My Dear Father used to do it and it worked every time!!!! Here goes: 2 aspirin, 2 shots of whiskey and go to bed for 24 hours. ROL!!! Honestly he would be on his feet the next morning!!!!!! Course, we DID start worrying when he got colds every weekend!!!!! :?

LOL , sounds better than the remedy my Gram gave to my Mom and her sisters. If they even sneezed out came the Skunk Oil and a spoon. Needless to say Mom and my Aunts "never" said they were sick....lol
