Sorry it took me awhile to get these posted. On November 26th I met 3 very lovely ladies in Caldwell, Id. There were four of us cosyquilter, marlys (and here SIL), and me - Spudgm. We met at a cafe in Caldwell and had a lovely lunch and visited like we had known each other for years. After lunch we went to cosyquilter's house to see her memory quilt she had made for her brother for Christmas. We got to see her quilt frame and a lovely old quilt that a friend had asked her to try and figure out what could be done with it. Then we went to Cindy's Quilt shop in Caldwell and Marlys tried to buy the place out :) It was a wonderful day and I hope we can get together again. I did ask them all if I could post the picture but forgot to ask about posting names so that is why I just posted Marly's SIL (she is not a quilter or a member of the board so does not have a screen name) And I forgot Marly's SIL's name anyway SORRY :) |
Awww thank you for sharing your picture with us :D It sounds like you all had a great time :D:D:D

Thanks for sharing....always fun to meet up with others that share the same passion.

It sounds like you all had a great time! Good that there are that many of you in the area.

We had a great time. Nice to get to know others. I even bought 2 pieces I have no idea what to use for: pretty much the 1st time I have purchased fabric without a specific plan.
|
We did have a great time. However, there is a slight exaggeration! I did not buy the store out - I only bought 2 pieces of fabric. However I did buy about 10 yards of each! But can you blame me - sale rack: $2.50 a yard!
It was a great afternoon and the next time I am in Boise we will definitely have to get together again. |
Sounds like a great way to spend the day. Glad you guys had a great day!!! :-D
