I would love to hear from others who have some ideas to share on making Christmas gifts. I have a lot of co-workers and huge family. I am running out of ideas!

This is what I like to do for a child, particularly, a girl.

It depends on who I am giving to. Let say for a couple. I like to make a basket up for them. I put a DVD a couple bag of popcorn, candy ,and Coca cola’s, chips, nuts. It is a big hit.
This year for my sisters ,I was thinking of making dish towels with the days of the week with the girl work, washing, cooking ,cleaning, ironing, ect. My mom had them when we were growing up. I thought that they would get a kick out of them.
I may make a few quillows. These are a few ideals.

I'm making aprons. Cheap, fun, cute. I've added ruffles, lace, ric rac all sorts of fun stuff. Full or half aprons. I did a few reversible. And I embroidered their names or initials in the pockets. And the best part none take long to make. Tons of tutorials free online. I have just winged most of them though. No need for patterns lol :)

How about chicken soup in a jar? If you can find the posts from last week titled soup anyone, I replied to it and gave instructions.

A LQS was selling kitchen towels that can be embellished with fabric (Christmas or any fabric). Very easy to do and they make nice hostess gifts.

I don't do a lot of gifts since I don't know a lot of people, but I've made a couple lap quilts, one set of 6 Christmas place mats and 3 pot holder tops. I have another place mat set to do and a few more pot holders.

I'm doing pillow cases with fabrics that match each persons interests. So far I've made 18 and counting.
