~ Hull strawberries easily using a straw.

~ Rubbing a walnut over scratches in your furniture will disguise dings and scrapes.

~ Remove crayon masterpieces from your TV or computer screen with WD40.

~ Stop cut apples browning in your child’s lunch box by securing with a rubber band.

~ Overhaul your linen cupboard, store bed linen sets inside one of their own pillowcases & there
will be no more hunting through piles for a match.

~ Re-use a wet-wipes container to store plastic bags.

I put an extra shower curtain rod above the tub in uor guest bath and use it to hang drip dry laundry on hangers.

Also I start my seeds in egg shells - crack open the top third, punch tiny drain hole in bottom and stand in carton. Fill with soil and seeds and when plants grow just crush the shell and plant whole thing in garden.

All those free magnets in phone books and from stores can be placed on sewing table, lining a bowl, on ironing board, where ever stray pins collect.

I like starting seeds in cardboard egg cartons, using those over the door shoe organizers to store crafts in craft room on both sides of closet door, inside of coat closet for hats and gloves, clothes closet for belts scarves etc, bathroom for storage due to no cupboard, endless usage for such an inexpensive item.

Somebody has been on Pinterest! Love that site. I waste even more time there than I do here.

I could never figure out the whole "Use a ______ to hull strawberries", be it a strawberry huller or whatever. I am usually slicing them, so with my little knife, I take off the top and then slice.

I can't picture doing it with a straw. If the strawberry was firm the straw would bend wouldn't it?

Its not wasted time when you can learn something even if it's one thing

I love these ideas and have tried several that work wonderfully. But I have to admit, (at least in my experience) hulling strawberries with a straw doesn't work. When I tried (and the strawberry was ripe and the straw was sturdy plastic) it just bent the straw. Oh well, many of the other tips worked great and I was happy to learn them.:)
