The "ignore" feature
 

Can someone please explain where this feature is. I haven't stumbled on to it yet.

I believe it is used to ignore chosen posters. I don't know where it is on this board, but have used it on another board where trolls love to run amok. Try clicking on a user's name and see if the option pops up. Sometimes it is an option in settings of your profile.

if you want to ignore a member, click on their member name... the list of choices then appears under their name. ignore is there

I clicked on Nan's name as an example and it gives me several options, but Ignore isn't one of them....

Once you click on her name, then click on her Profile, that's where the Ignore option is.... wonder if you chose to ignore that member, and their posting is in the middle of a thread, what happens then?

can you ignore moderators? try ignoring me ;-) Go into her profile.

So if I choose to Ignore a Member.... can they tell that I have chosen this option?

on another board I visit, you see a line that says " you are ignoring this user".

When I click on your profile, I see the option to ignore you. Of course, I would never do that.
