I know you are so proud of him. My son graduated from basic 10 years ago - also an E-3. Graduation is such a neat experience. He is out of the Army now but my husband was in the Air Force 23 years. Congrats to you. We were at Fort Jackson last March (2010) for my son's graduation. It was amazing. He was promoted that day also and was also Soldier Leader of the Cycle for his Company. I am PROUD indeed. Son then was at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD, but they were in the process of moving everything to Ft. Lee. I wish your son the best and when you talk with him please tell him thank you from this Mom.

Handsome looking son!! Husband and son were both in the Army. Peace time for my husband and son was in the gulf war, was serving in Germany and was suppose to come home before Christmas, well that didn't happen, ended up staying for another whole year. Was so glad to get him home.
