I sat down in my sewing area and layed my head down on the desk for a minute and fell sound asleep. That is until littleman ran around the couch and yelled WHAT ARE YOU DOING? That woke me right up and scared the you know what put of me. So how many of you have fallen asleep in your sewing room?

Not me, as messy as it is dh would not find me for a month.

I haven't, but I felt like it a few times. Since I am retired, when I felt like that, I just take a real nap.

Sometimes I wish I could!! When I was working nights, I TRIED so hard to sleep during the day, just could NOT do it. It was awful, because I really needed to, but COULD not sleep! Oh, was I ornery!

Mr 3 year old granddaughter and I went visiting this morning, and to the Library and grocery store. Picked up some corn and tomatoes on the way home. Had a quick lunch, got the groceries put away, and dressed around and got in the pool. She wears a swim vest and is doing great in the pool! Back and forth, back and forth; and what she calls back stokes. Games with the noodles. When she had to pee, we got out and I found out we had been in the pool 2 hours. Then to the sprinkler. Man, that water is cold! Even if it is 90 degrees outside. I left her play in that while I took the laundry off the line. Went inside and read several of her library books. I could barely stay awake! She had picked out a DVD so I put that in the portable DVD player and "we" watched on Gram's bed. I watched it with my eyes closed mostly. Some days she wears me out!! But I love it.

Not me, sewing keeps me awake, but I sure can quite easily drop off at the computer. :D

Every night. It's also my bedroom :)

ditto I am always falling asleep at the computer,

I fall asleep at the computer all the time. One minute I am reading something, next I jerk awake and see it is ten minutes later! then when I go to bed I can't sleep. LOL

I wasn't sewing I just sat down in my chair at my desk for a minute and I was out. Lol.

Sometime after coming home from work I can fall asleep at the computer.

Carrie, you made me laugh!! Just yesterday I was lying on the floor pinning blocks and fell sound asleep!! One of my cats was on my back getting warm. I had one of those Thermacare wraps on my lower back b/c it was hurting and the cats hate AC so she was enjoying herself hahahaha
I had a nice nappy too!! :D:D

Yes I have done this too. I get to going so much, I just nod off. Especially if the heat is getting to me in the summer. Bless your heart.

thank you for the thread!!! i thought i was the only one that could fall asleep at the sewng machine &/or cp!!!! once i was eating dinner n front of the cp[am widowed soeat any time ,anywhere]fell asleep & woke up w/ one of my tenants knocking on the window,i had fallen asleep face down in mydinner !
