I know this has NOTHING to do with quilting, but I for one have to have the television going for noise while I sew/quilt/craft etc. Well, last night I was watching Rizzoli & Isles on TNT and close to the end of the show, low and behold I happened to watch the commercials and all of a sudden I hear the familiar and much loved theme song to the OLD tv show "DALLAS". I look up and it said "COMING SUMMER 2012 to TNT - DALLAS, THE NEXT GENERATION"!!! OH my gosh, I jumped up and started dancing a jig and had to rewind it a few times. Even Patrick Duffy (Bobby), Larry Hagman (JR) and Linda Gray (Sue Ellen) will be on the show and it picks up with Bobby & JR's kids running the ranch and the oil company. You can go to dallastnt.com and watch the trailer! I can't wait to see what they do with it! I was literally what I lived for on Friday nights was Dallas at 10:00 and I was in high school!! LOL

Just thought I'd share in case anyone else had the crazy Dallas bug!!

I fear it can only go down hill from the original. The original was the best...............

I also loved the show. One vacation we went and found the house in Plano where they were shooting scenes. It was a lot of fun.

I saw that too. I can't believe we are looking at a whole year of these commercials.

Yippee! I just recently finished watching the series on DVD (thanks Netflix & library). I was kinda young when it was on, so didn't really get into it, except I had relatives in Texas, and sometimes they had horses on the show...

My sister was talking about Dallas coming back on . Hope it will be good as the old show.
