Dairyland Greyhound Racetrack in Kenosha, WI will be closing on 12/31/09. 900 Greyhounds need to be adopted or they will be euthanized. That is so sad. We have racing here and they can be adopted when they retire. I hear they make wonderful pets.

It is sad. I've heard the same thing and I've heard they are very smart too. I'm hoping someone will see it that needs a good dog. It doesn't cost that much to have one flown to where you are...I purchased mine from a good breeder and had them flown to me.
