I have an industrial singer sewing machine that my husband bought me when a local furniture factory went out of business. I don't know how to thread it, let alone how to bring the bobbin thread up. If anyone on here knows how to thread it or where I can get information on it, please let me know. I have been looking at this thing for awhile and think it is time to do something with it. I am wanting to sell it, I am not planning on doing any sewing on leather or upholstry. It is a Singer 211 G 151, green, in a large green table.

If you go to the Singer website you should be able to download a threading guide for you model...

Found this link to a service manual you can print out for it:
http://parts.singerco.com/IPsvcManua...57_651_658.pdf Didn't see a threading diagram in it, though. Also found this old eBay listing for the head so you can get an idea of pricing: http://cgi.ebay.com/sewing-machine-S...-/180638893354 Also found this place that sells industrial sewing machines. You might want to call or email to ask about threading: http://www.industrialsewmachine.com/...hures/211g.htm |

visit the singer web site- there all you have to do is enter the serial/model number and you can get a manual for it= often free down loads- some of them you have to buy (about $15--well worth having the manual for any machine)

page 6 of the manual has your threading guide...

Hi There,
How nice your husband was thinking of you. If you still have the machine, and are interested in selling, please contact me. I have some questions I'd like to ask. Thanks, Kyla |
