i made this dress for my 7yo DGD's birthday tomorrow. the cake is full-sized. i've seen these cakes that look like cupcakes before, thought i'd try one. her mother works full time and goes to school full time, so she doesn't have time to do these things.

School is Cool dress

Love both of them. Do you have the pattern for it? I would love to make my 4yo DGD one. She's picky already but I think she would love this style. She loves cupcake fabric, too, so it would be cute to make it in cupcake fabric.

sorry, i don't think the pattern is available anymore. it is probably from the 60's. it even has the darts at the shoulders... when do you find that anymore :) and the sleeves have a curve to the bottom edge. i like to line the sleeves so the pinked edges do not rub the shoulders. it would be adorable in a cupcake fabric.
