I saw this church board comment about the weather:

I thought it was worth a chuckle. I heard thunder yesterday, the rain stayed to the north and east of us. I heard thunder today, it is to the east and south of us. What I wouldn't give for a rainy day. I know that I am not alone. I saw the NBC news and it showed Lake Travis in Texas with all those beautiful 'lakeside' homes, no water.

We've had some timely rain this summer and I'm so grateful for it! Usually everything looks horrible by now but things are looking good. So I won't complain about the heat :D

I'm on well water....worried about it running dry

Well!!! He can gladly have it back!!
Sure am looking forward to fall. My favorite times of year: Fall & Spring. I can tolerate cold winter better than very hot summer.
