ipad picture to pc

My camera's battery is down so took a picture on my ipad, but I have no idea how to send it to my pictures on my pc and then to quilting board. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thank you.

I post directly from my iPad camera roll to quiltingboard.

D/l the free DROPBOX to your iPad. The sites will give you the option of having it installed on your computer. Then that's all you have to do. The pad syncs with computer when pix, designs, ( a host of other 'saves' are added to the iPad and auto transfers to computer's Dropbox. Without deleting from iPad! You can leave in computer Dropbox folders, or move to desired folders. So much you can do with and a big amt of storage initially, tho you can buy more. I've never needed to!

I would send it just like I send photos to friends via email. You can then copy it from the email to your PC.

to move pics from ipad to computer - use your ipad battery recharging cord. there is a usb connector in the wall plug end. remove that end from the little square boxy thing & connect to usb connector site on your computer while ipad end is connected to ipad charging port. open the usb drive on your computer that shows ipad connector. you can then either move to pc files permanently from your ipad or copy to computer files. the interface looks & performs same as the card or transfer method used by your camera.

...or you can open account & download dropbox to pc & ipad or any of several online photosharing websites. the images are stored at those sites similar to cloud services but only available from your personal account at the photo sites instead of the entire world.
