I would like to make gifts for my new grandaughter, who will be 6 months, for Christmas. I was wondering if you had any ideas and pictures to share of gifts you have made. I have found a pattern for an alphabet book that looks good, but was looking for some more ideas. I remember seeing a small cloth barn with animals, but cannot find a pattern for it.

Thanks for sharing any ideas and pictures of fun gifts you have made!! Also if you have a link to some one who has kids patterns I would appreciate it!!

How about a quiet time book. I made one for my daughter 28 years ago and we still have it.

what about a small cloth photo album. you could put family pictures, that baby would recognize.

Good idea. My grandkids love looking at pictures of family members, and it really helps since we all live so far apart.

My nephew had a store-bought "taggie" which he simply would/could not fall asleep without.

They're easy to make, here's a tutorial I quickly found:

This is a great idea...When my girls were little I would laminate pictures and take them in the car with them. I completely forgot about doing that!!
