I know how you feel. I am working on a flying geese quilt...oh my gosh...192, 2 3/4" x 5" rectangular flying geese... I am getting slower and slower with this project and am making more time to shop and spend on fabric and planning... and a new Joann's just opened 5 minutes from my home... I must discipline myself... having a hard time and feeling guilty too.

I am allowing myself the 4 B's in 2011...backing, batting, background, background. My goal in 2011 is to use up a much of my stash that I can.

It's all so true - at least I don't have the fabric police at my house like my sister does. But with prices on fabric going up, I also made a goal of using my stash and only buying if needed for a particular project.
I do "cheat" sometimes, like when the remnant bin has goodies in it that I just can't pass up! I do a lot of applique and the remnants give me lot of smaller pieces of quality fabric at a great price.. |
