It's not a quilt, but I thought I'd share!

Finally finished a very belated Christmas gift for my friend's children. Next time I offer to make flannel slippers, I'll remember that each child has TWO feet!!
Oh, yes, I should have posted this too: no, I didn't have a pattern. I traced their feet, added a seam allowance, doubled the flannel for the tops and wrapped it around their feet. Pinned it to the sole, cut around, stitched it on, and made a strip for the back. I added elastic to tops & back, and adjusted each foot separtaely. I'm sure that was clear as mud!! |
Dang!! This new picture upload has me bamboozled.... I'll try again.
Aha!! Fourth try is the charm. Now I get it. Question is... will I remember it?!? |
These pix don't show up for me. Would love to see the flannel slippers.
|
Might as well post the pattern with the pictures, if you can please.....as I need to make some slippers and they do not want crocheted ones.....thanks in advance!

Sorry, don't have a pattern. I traced their feet, and just kinda winged it from there. Only had trouble with one pair.
