Just when my DH was going to surprise me with a NEW sewing machine.....don't you know. DD's wood stove developed a crack so we helped them out. DH had the water pump on the car go and damaged the motor and on top of that, he needs $1500.00 of dental work. Car is probably going to somebody for junk or parts...thank God we have the Dodge van to drive or we would be isolated. Life is what happens when you are planning something else...I guess I wait. At least I have my trusty Janome beginners machine or I would really be stuck. Arrgh! Rm.8:28

yep, i was going to the Dermatologist's but they messed up my appointment. next thing i knew the garage door broke and cost $300.00 to fix. then plumbing job, etc.

Had lots of plans for Christmas but instead I got new plumbing. It was pretty exciting to have great water pressure again though so it was worth it. Always something when you live in a 100 year old house.
