Yesterday I took two pairs of my daughter's heels and bling-ed them out. These shoes were plain before. The gold ones have irridescent Swarovski crystals now and the black ones have light and dark pink. She loves them.

Very, very cute. When it's too hot to enjoy much, when you can get involved in a fun job, the time flies.

Those are so cute. It is to hot here to do much outside. I just try to keep the birdbath's and humming bird feeders full.

Would some of you send some of your heat my way :o By the way the shoes are awsome

Be happy to send you some heat...what do you want? 10-20 degrees??? But remember, you get the humidity with it... It was over 100 here yesterday. We are in the midst of a storm right now, so...you can probably slice the humidity.

I'd be more than happy to send you some of our heat (who knew WI got so dang hot in the summer? Wind chill advisories in the winter & heat advisories in the summer... crazy!). And, since I'm such a wonderful person, I'll even throw in a big ol' helping of humidity! You're welcome! LOL!

Nanamoms 06-29-2012 11:11 AM

Yep, way to hot to do anything here. We hit a high of 102 here yesterday!! We had no spring at all! Love the shoes. My little granddaughter loves bling. I'm going to have to do her some sandals!!

Jim's Gem 06-29-2012 02:35 PM

Very cute!!

It's been 106 here in Dallas. I'll send you at least 25 degrees! You're welcome.

Jingle 06-29-2012 06:16 PM

It was 112 here yesterday and about the same today, and we will have about the same for at least the next week or so and absolutely desert dry. Usually we have high humidity in the summer, not this year, probably since there is no sign of rain. Everything is drying up and wilting, impossible to water anything with it being so dry. Fools are still setting off fireworks, been told not to since it is so dry.
I could send you a whole lot of heat.

Those are cute. I was invited to a Christmas ball years ago and did not have much money. I made my outfit with bling and redesign a pair of heels like that also. Sad to say I lost both in Hurricane Katrina.

I would gladly send you some heat--it was 112 degrees on my deck yesterday. Cutting the grass will have to wait!!!

Scotlass 06-30-2012 08:15 AM

Your shoe project turned out really cute! AND a personal message for Nelco.....don't even think of having any of the heat and humidity sent to Oregon.....we have it perfect right now 77-80 degrees and we don't know what humidity is! Just perfect!

Latrinka 06-30-2012 10:11 AM

Very cute!

Ibought Swarovski crystals the first time---probably won't be doing that again, they're expensive! I had a great time blinging them up. DH ordered some shoe clip findings for me that should be here within a week or so. I'm going to make some interchangable feathered, blingy, etc., clips that can be put on the toes or the outside of the heels. I'm also pricing some of the rhinestone trim that I can use for heel collars. When I get them done I'll post some pix. DD loves her heels and loves for them to be different than what can be bought in stores. When her friends asked where she got those shoes, she loves to tell that "they were custom designed" just for her.

liese 07-01-2012 06:18 PM

GREAT idea! Love the black ones :)

mudose8 07-02-2012 11:13 AM

Just wondering, did you use the hot fix tool to apply the crystals? I recently bought one, but haven't used it yet. I did a pair of sandals and used E-6000 to glue on the jewels. Very cute.

mom-6 07-02-2012 11:17 AM

Lovely! Very tastefully done!

Some of the bling I see is so over the top, but yours is perfect!

Patchworkmarion 07-02-2012 12:41 PM

Love them.By the way,it is -2c here thismorning.

These were done with the purple Hotfix tool. When I've made headbands with large flowers on them I've super glued the jewels on. But that was because I bought the wrong ones.

I spent several hours looking at shoes online to get ideas and to decide on how much bling I wanted. Some of the shoes were SOOOooooo expensive! Can't afford that and would rather design them myself.
