We always loved going to these with our daughter! Has anyone else here enjoyed these before as we have?

Tuba Christmas is an annual event which brings together tuba and other low brass players to play Christmas carols and share the joy of the holiday season. Indoors or outdoors, audience listening and sometimes singing along---all different dates across the country. TubaChristmas is celebrating 35 years of public holiday concerts this year.

To check for concert dates in your area go to this page and click on your state (or International for three locations in Canada and one in Switzerland):

To see one concert for a few minutes (Dallas, 2007) on YouTube:

Or if you have RealPlayer there are archived performances at this Kennedy center site:

GO LOW BRASS!!!! :)

Thank you SandPat! My avatar is a close up from my quilt "We've Got Sisters!" that appeared in RaNae Merrill's "Simply Amazing Spiral Quilts". It's 24 by 36 inches.

RaNae's method is wonderful, makes 'ya look REALLY good. It looks complicated, doesn’t it? But my entire project is made up of only two foundation pieces: one kite shape that has its color placement just the same in every piece and one triangle with every piece also identical. That information might put things in perspective and make designing a spiral quilt seem less intimidating.

RaNae Merrill's blog is here for anyone that might be interested:
