and I have missed you sooooo much! I'm sure it's been a month since I've been on. So I guess I need to make a pot of coffee so I can catch up!!
My mother's going through Chemo (down to 95 lbs) and my father-in-law is also going through chemo. His is extremely aggressive. I hope and pray everyday that they will be well. I've watched toooo many episodes of "Hoarders" to the point where I have cleaned up way to much. I've even packed away my quilted stuff including sewing machine. I know, as soon as I look through everyones accomplishments I will want to join them. I've been researching colleges so I can go back to school. I've found out that the local community college is accredited in CHAIIM (Commission on Accreditatin for Health Informatics & Information Management Education) so I can go in knowing fully that my degree with let me continue on into Cancer Registry. Your absence is completely understood and I am so sorry for the struggles your family is facing. You are an angel to gift your time in helping them. Hoarders is one creepy show. Unpack your sewing machine. We all need one vice. Toss the tupperware and those extra clothes that never fit but get out your machine and do something for you too. Glad to see you back here.

Cancer is scary but it can be beaten! Just be sure that you take time out for yourself. Prayers for your mom and father in law

Kathleen.
I know about putting all the sewing gear away etc... I did that when I went back to school in 2005...Well, I wasn't able to complete my master's (I have a BS) and I decided to go back into sewing aka quilting...I'm still trying to find my stuff..lol... don't put it where you can't get to it. You'll need a stress reliever. |
