My dad will be so upset, thats his idol. Dad is 65, works out daily, he has for as long as I can remember. He enrolled us in a health club at the age of 8. He won man of the year at that gym. Being 65 he had to do a stress test this year on his heart. The tech that was giving the test apologized and said " I'm sorry to do this but we are gonna have to crank up the speed to get your heart where we need it to be, we've never had to do this before" They had my dad jogging. I can remember be a kid and dad making us watch his show. He sure made an impact on my dads life. DH and I were just talking about Jack a couple of days ago. I'll have to send dad a sympathy card...LOL

I was very saddened to read he had passed. He was in inspiration to many many people and he could always make me laugh. He will be missed!

I used to do his exercises with him (on the TV) in the 60s. The article I read said he was active til the very end. Will miss him.

Yes, I also remember watching him back in the day. He was on TV not long ago and I was saddened to hear of his passing. He truly lived what he believed and was an inspiration to us all.

What a man. I also loved his tv show when I was a kid.
