I saw advertised on TV today that a movie has been made on One for the Money!!! They cast Katherine Heigel as Stephanie Plum and Danny DeVito as her cousin. I am so excited!!!!!!!:D

Her books are great! Have read all 17 plus a few others. I am looking forward to buying # 18.

Pretty sure it's for the theaters. Sure hope it lives up to the books - they are a hoot!

Google One For The Money movie.....it shows pictures. The movie was filmed in Philadephia. I think it will be out in the spring or summer this year.

I love her books. I'm on the 4th one now. Someone on this board got me hooked, whoever that was, thanks. The books are so funny. Can't wait to see the movie. Danny DeVito as cousin Vinny is just the perfect choice.

Her books are great I have read all of them except the most recent one I am waiting for a friend to finish it so that I can read it. I don't usually go to movies but I can't wait till that one comes out to go see. I too hope it is as good as the book!!

Katherine could easily be upstaged if they cast the right black gal to be her partner. That movie has to end up a total hoot. I've read them all.

I've been so looking forward to this coming out as a movie, but sincerely hoped they would cast Sandra Bullock as Stephanie and Queen Latifa as Lula........hope my casting choices don't spoil the movie for me! Oh, and Danny DeVito as the bail bonds office owner. We'll see.......

I've been getting all my books from the library on my e-reader (it's on my iphone). When I first put the latest Plum book on hold I was #187 in line for it. Now I've made it up to #24. Soon, now... soon!

Love that book series! Every one of those books has made me laugh out loud until I cried. And I don't laugh that easily.

Love the fact that she's a JERSEY GIRL! Her books are always a pick me up.

ok, just watched the trailer.....Debbie Reynolds plays(totaly is) Grandma........the one who plays S mom is just not right for the part but oh, well, the one that plays Ranger is not great either they should have cast that guy in Austraila

Can hardly wait for this to come out. I am trying to get a group of girls to go see it. Should be a fun night especially since we range in age from early thirties and up to ?????? My aunt and I love to read them - unfortunately she just had a shoulder replacement surgery so i don't think she will be able to go with us.

My Brother got me hooked on her books. They are "laugh out loud funny" I stopped trying to read them in public because I always got the giggles... My best friend is from Jersey and she reads them too. Wish we could go see the movie together, since I would not go with my family.

I love her books and have read quite a few of them. Will be watching for the movie.

My friend heard they had cancelled this movie so this is interesting to see it has a release date. I saw a trailer for part of it and they have the wrong actors playing so many of the parts that it will be interesting to see how this turns out. The guy playing Morreli is Scottish instead of Italian, Debbie Reynolds for Grandma Mazur is totally wrong - Betty White would have been much better. I can see Neicy Nash playing Lula although I agree that Queen Latifah wouldn't be bad either. My friend & I were thinking that maybe the producers had never actually read the books.

I have read every one of her books and so had my DD. I am looking forward to seeing what they can do with the movie. I want to know who they made Lulu or is it Lula?

Ok - whois the Scottish actor who plays Morelli - and what hunk plays Ranger? Yes, Betty White should have played Grandma, but I'm willing to give Debbie Reynolds a chance. Just like I'm willing to give Katherine Heigl a chance. But they both better be good!

My best friend told me about this author several years ago and I have laughed through all of the books. The friend and I have a date to go to the movie together. Can't wait to laugh and enjoy this film.

Im excited to see this movie. I have read the first 8 books. Seems like I am ahead of the movies for once...read The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo and the Hunger games already.

I read that Patrick Fischler is playing cousin Vinny, but Danny Devito would be much better! And yes, Sandra Bullock would have been the best Stephanie and Betty White should have been Grandma..But I am looking forward to the movie for sure!
