I only heard a snipett the other day, JCP is no longer going to have catalog order? I know they discontinued the big catalogs but does this mean no internet catalog either.....?

Not sure about the Internet part - I also heard they are closing stores. The days of catalog browsing are gone - end of an era. I still have the last Wish Book that Sears put out. Grandma would give me her old catalogs to cut up and make paper dolls out of :)

WOW, I always loved their Christmas catalogs, us kids would fight over them every year!

Wow, I hadnt heard that....it makes me sad. I like ordering from the catalog. We get alot from them. The stores will just not have the selection and sizes.

Honestly - I can't think of the last time I wanted a full catalog from JC Penney (or Sears). If I want something, I generally go to their website and/or order from there.

The article I read in the paper said they were keeping their internet website/catalog to order from.

A lot of the large companies feel that more people use the internet than catalogs and they are so expensive to print that they are discontinuing them. I just got a notice that our local telephone directory will no longer be available because people are using the internet. I really feel for the people that don't have computers !!

I know, my neighbors dont have one and she is always asking me to look up things for her....I am sure she would like to have one but her DH is a little on the cheap side.

I'll be happy as lomg as I can still order online!
