I see everyone with cute Sewing Machine Covers... I want one.. well I want 3... LOL!... I wish I could make one.. OMG! I bet I could make one..

What I am looking at... hmmm someting.. kinda LOL! "crunchy" maybe some plastic canvas or craft foam.. cover it in fabric...

I want something that I can cover the whole machine... not the little ties on the side AHA!!! Think of Gramma's Toaster you know big and just cover it...

While I am whining.... I want a kitchen aid mixer cover to cover Sebastian... he is sexy as hell and I hate that he gets dusty... You know it really is a pain to be a Quilter and not a Seamstress or someone who sews... My mom can recreate what you are wearing but cannot make a quilt to save her life...

and I alas cannot make clothes... But I can make a mean quilt... LOL

Thanks for listening...

I WANT a Sewing MOMMY!!! Where or where are the cool moms/grammas in Houston...

SAVE ME FAIRY GODMOM SEWER!!!

You can adapt it to fit Sebastian, just momentarily pretend he's a sewing machine and measure as per the pattern.

Then all your beauties will be covered...you will be a happy quilter and you can post pics and we will tell you how clever you are!

I'm watching your progress and coming along nicely! Project chosen, executed begun by purchasing fabric and embroidery design selected and now next step! Sewing!

earthwalker 06-03-2011 08:09 PM

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

WinSumLsSm 06-07-2011 03:55 PM

Ok I am discouraged and really upset.... :"(

I measured.... ok that was off.. so I did a actual measure up... overcame that..

i embroidered the design on.. ok the design was flawed and it moved... ok overcame that.... ugh.. I think I put the piping on wrong.. I just balled it up and bawled LOL!..

I am sticking to quilts...
:( WAHHHHHH

butterflies5518 06-07-2011 04:46 PM

now, now, now how was your first quilting experience?, perserverence will make it work. Work on your quilts and then go back and do one step at a time and stop, push it aside for a few more and suddenly wala all done and accomplished! I started sewing in high school and can still hear my teacher telling me to "get the pins out of your mouth"! yep heard her yesterday! You'll get there

earthwalker 06-07-2011 10:47 PM

It is a quilt (of sorts...). Now don't let Boris et al down by quitting! Hang in there and remember tomorrow is another day.

WinSumLsSm 06-25-2011 03:11 PM

So I tried... As I said it did not turn out :"( so I am still pouting...
