You can get on just for being part of the board that is how I got mine last year.

You can get a card if you belong to a quilt guild and have a quilt guild card.. I signed up on line, they mailed me a card. I just had to take it and my proof of membership to a Joann's and have it signed.

You could be a vendor eg. at a craft fair.
