Maria, they have the smaller ones in the local Ferrateria here, but not got one. Have to say this is a tourist Paella, specially formulated for the tourists tastes. It containes Pork, Chicken, Prawns and cockles, usually has mussels as well, but didnīt have today. Real ones have squid, rabbit, red and green peppers mussels chicken prawns, in fact just throw it all in :D

I am from Puerto Rico and live in NY. My friend from Spain (Valencia) wanted to make on in my house, and he made my husband go to China Town and look from shrimp with their heads aand eyes still on, and those don't come around here very often (in NYC).

Thanks Loretta, it is beautiful, but donīt go to those touristy places, look for the white villages of Spain, those are the ones with history and real beauty. In Spanish they are called Pueblo Blanco.

Come on over you will love it.

Oh yes, the Prawns (thats what we English call them) make the Paella taste better with their skins on. that surprises me that you donīt get them whole, mind you it is a pain in the neck having to peel them when you want to eat the Paella. Each district has their own take on Paella as well, they put different things in.

I know, but this was my pig out day lol, Anyway I shook the plate before I ate it and got rid of all the calories. :D

Oh, that's good that you shook the plate first! lol
I should have been there, then you wouldn't have had to do that. I would have just wished your calories away! :)
So, how far is that place from you?
I'm making notes of all the places we can go and visit. :) :)
