we have a national/state park about 4 or 5 miles from the house and there are Rosevelt Elk and other things there. Sometimes the elk come near enough that we can grab a picture. We really lucked out today and I thought I'd share it with you. Aren't they gorgeous?

Elk are such special animals. It's a shame so many of our wild animals have become so unafraid of humans. This leads to the death of many.
