I have the Kindle Fire HD and think it is wonderful. I read a lot and surf the net too much. Both are very easy on the Kindle. Our library has a great selection of books for the digital readers. I think it is all about personal preference. Mine was a gift a couple of years ago and I have no experience with others. A few of my friends have the I-pads and think they are the best. Again, personal preference.
