I have a spray in the faucet and it works great and stays put when not being used as a "sprayer." Love it.

We had a Delta spray faucet and it is now gone. I didn't like it at all. Didn't stay put unless I really put it back carefully. Also, with a drilled well and hard water with a lot of iron content the little screen which for some reason was under the sink, clogged up and restricted my water flow severely. DH didn't know about the one under the sink and thought it was just the screen on the end of the faucet. We took it apart several times to clean without success.
I now have a Moen without the spray, which I seldom used and I'm much happier. So, not a fan of spray faucets I guess.

Just put in one and it's great. It's one of the high ones so I can get a really large pot underneath.

When it comes to faucets you have to go quality or regret it later and quality means $ when it comes to faucets. We replaced the bathroom sinks and vanity tops and the faucets cost more per sink then the new sink or vanity.

I have a spray in the faucet, and do not have any problems with it.

My new kitchen has a sprayer that comes out of the faucet. It is also very high which is essential as far as I'm concerned. This particular faucet has a clean modern look and the long hose is weighted so that the sprayer locks back in easily. The other feature I like is that you do not have to keep the spray button depressed manually while using it as it has a built-in button to change from stream to spray...just click on and off. I bought it in Lowe's and it has a lifetime warranty. The price was not cheap but reasonable for the quality and features. PM me if you want specific info on model, etc.

Under faucets click on a vendor name to see samples

The spray faucets are nice, but when we put our new one in last year I remembered the sprayer that we had when I was a kid. I went with that separate style. (Less to break or need replacing, I am a cheap broad!)
