Knitting - Earwarmer for Winter Weather
1 Attachment(s)
I have a favorite hat pattern that uses a 3 x 2 rib. I cast on 90 stitches and knit 3 x2 ribbing for about 5". Then I bound off and whipped stitched the two ends together to double the fabric. This was really easy to make and it will be great under a hat if the weather gets really cold. BTW, I knit this with Knit Picks Brava Worsted acrylic yarn in the Seraphim colorway on size 8, 16" circular needles. Planning on making more in different colors.

It looks like it will be pretty when finished as well as warm.

Well done! I am a very slow knitter but I have made myself a hat and scarf set for winter. It is still in good shape and is a kind of loose slouchy hat the covers my ears in fluffy yarn. Nothing like having your own design that meets your needs.

I will be making this. Thank you for the info. Would you consider giving the directions for the hat? Love making this kind of thing for Christmas gifts for the grands.

Here is the link to the website for the free hat pattern. So easy and the ribbing makes a great snug hat.
