When I find bills in the laundry, I iron them. The ironing board is always set up, takes a second to turn the iron on, and I really dislike folded or crinkled bills in my bill fold (I'm also anal about keeping the denominations in order and all the presidents heads must be facing up). Who among my quilting friends with hot irons at the ready iron crinkled money?  |
Never thought of ironing money, but I did iron my homework when I was in school. It made the pages look much nicer, and I thought it would garner a better grade! No torn edges, no wrinkles or turned-down corners. Must have worked. I had a great GPA! OH! I have ironed tissue paper to re-use it in gift bags. :-)

same for me,too.

Do you know that 4 out of 5 bills in circulation right now have enough cocaine on them to be dectected by a drug sniffing dog

I iron them for the carwash so they will go into the slot. What I find in the laundry goes in a jar on the shelf. Never know when you might need a little walking around money.

ME! I'm one of them. I even laundry them if they look and feel really dirty. Then spray 'em with Best Press (for smell) and iron them flat. I really don't like handling dirty or torn money..It gets spent first!
